Chuseok is a Korean holiday in mid -autumn, also known in the US as the Korean Thanksgiving due to it being celebrated to thank their ancestors and come together.
A Chuseok festival is held at the Main Parade Lawn on Presidio of San Francisco.
The community in San Francisco come together and provide areas fro vendors as well as a stage for performances. Many vendors sell Korean or Korean inspired items, art, and clothes.
Due to the size of the festival, food vendors would have lines that extend to the other side of the lawn so its best to commit to one vendor line before they sell out.
The performers for the festival range from music groups, dance groups, and other organization groups. Many of the performers are people displaying and embracing their culture!
